Biography
Doina Cosovan received a Bachelor's and Master's degree at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Faculty of Computer Science. Here, she is currently pursuing a PhD in using meta-heuristics techniques for correlating web-based threats. Passionate about teaching, she remained at the same institution as a Collaborator, teaching students "Introduction to Programming", "Advanced Programming" and "Functional Programming". Also, she has been a malware researcher at Bitdefender since 2010. Her interests include mainly reverse engineering, machine learning, botnet analysis and automated systems.
