    Biography

    Igor is a HFI Certified Usability Analyst and one of the first HFI Certified User Experience Analysts in Europe.

    He is a true advocate for user-centered design. Igor started working as a visual designer 10+ years ago, but after a while he realized that user interface is nothing without the power of ease-of-use. So Igor began his journey in the usability and UX world and it has not always been easy. In recent years, he has worked with almost all major Lithuanian brands. And now he’s one of the well-know UX specialists in Lithuania.

    Igor currently works as the User Experience Architect at the Lithuanian office of Nortal, the biggest software development solutions provider and IT exporter in the Baltic States.

    In Nortal, Igor is mostly working on UX activities and visual design takes only about 10-20% of his time. His main activities and responsibilities include establishing UX activity for the company. He’s producing user interface design including visual design, wire frames, interactive models, etc. As a UX architect, he works with functional prototypes in HTML, CSS and Javascript. And of course he’s managing UX research, usability testing, and scenario modeling, user requirements, user task analysis, mental models, and interaction design specifications. He also lectures about UX, usability, design and accessibility.

    Igor has a Master’s Degree in E-business Management and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, giving him a strong IT and business background.
