The Fast and the Continuous

Andrei Solntsev

When writing unit-tests, sometimes you end up with too much mocking and initializing objects. And you realize that writing Acceptance test would be more reasonable. Running Acceptance tests you notice that they are sooo sloooow and so fragile. And you wish to write some unit-tests instead to make test faster and robuster.

I would like to share my experience of how to find the balance between unit-tests and acceptance tests. I will illustrate this vision by implementing a new feature for a real web application.
